SALT LAKE CITY — Fox News host Sean Hannity said Wednesday night that Jeanine Pirro’s Saturday show will return over the weekend after a two-week break, Deadline reports.
Trump had been talking about the media's coverage of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. He said he hoped to see Pirro “back soon.”
“She’s back Saturday,” Hannity said.
A FOX News spokesperson told the Desert News that "Justice with Judge Jeanine" will be airing this Saturday5 comments on this story
- “Omar wears a hijab, which, according to the Quran 33:59, tells women to cover so they won’t get molested,” Pirro said during her show back on March 9. “Is her adherence to this Islamic doctrine indicative of her adherence to Sharia law, which in itself is antithetical to the United States Constitution?”
- Fox News condemned the remarks at the time: "We strongly condemn Jeanine Pirro’s comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar," the network said in a statement after the comments were made. "They do not reflect those of the network and we have addressed the matter with her directly."
- Trump supported Pirro in a tweet back on March 17, according to The Hill. "Bring back @JudgeJeanine Pirro. The Radical Left Democrats, working closely with their beloved partner, the Fake News Media, is using every trick in the book to SILENCE a majority of our Country," he tweeted.
