In my opinion, most of what is taught in school is foreign — unknown, alien and different.

How about science, math, music, art, geography, history, writing and English? Learning a foreign language opens up new worlds. My 7-year-old grandson was just here speaking to me in Ukrainian and Russian.

I have never used Algebra but am glad I suffered through it. The same could be said about any learning, as it is for our profitability.
