A 19-year-old man who police say randomly pointed a gun at several people got in even more trouble after police pulled him over and found drugs in his car, according to Unified police.

HOLLADAY— A 19-year-old man who police say randomly pointed a gun at several people got in even more trouble after police pulled him over and found drugs in his car, according to Unified police.

On Sunday, the passenger in a vehicle near 5401 S. Wasatch Blvd., randomly pointed a gun out the window at three people, according to a Salt Lake County Jail report.

When police pulled the vehicle over, officers found "a large quantity" of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a gun, the report states.

Haris Asim Saran was arrested for investigation of three counts of aggravated assault, drug distribution, possession of a weapon by a restricted person, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
