DENTON, Texas — Utah State women's basketball (17-15, 10-8 Mountain West) continues its run in the Women's Basketball Invitational by taking on North Texas (16-15, 7-9 Conference USA) in the second round on Tuesday, March 26, at 6 p.m. MT, in the Super Pit in Denton, Texas.

Tuesday's game will be streamed by Conference USA. Radio coverage will be provided by 92.3 KBLU with Jaden Johnson on the call. Utah State and North Texas met for the first time earlier this season when the Aggies defeated the Mean Green, 57-41, on Dec. 8, 2018, in the Super Pit. Junior guard/forward Hailey Bassett led the Aggies with 15 points off the bench, while senior center Deja Mason led on the boards with 10 rebounds. The USU bench outscored UNT's 31-0 in the victory.

UNT averages 63.9 points per game, while shooting 39.2 percent from the field, 29.9 percent from behind the arc and 67.2 percent at the free-throw line. Redshirt senior guard Terriell Bradley leads the team with 16.0 points per game, while junior forward Anisha George averages 10.8. George leads the team on the glass with 7.1 rebounds per game, while senior guard Brittany Smith averages 3.1 assists per game.

Defensively, opponents average 59.7 points per game against the Mean Green, shooting 39.7 percent from the floor, 30.7 percent from behind the 3-point line and 66.7 percent at the free-throw line. Bradley leads UNT in steals with 1.4 per game, while George leads in blocks with 0.8 per game.

Junior guard/forward Shannon Dufficy leads the Aggies with a double-double average of 15.7 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Dufficy has recorded a school-record 19 double-doubles this season, and has tied the program career record with 31. Junior guard Eliza West, who is the all-time assist leader with 450 career helpers, leads USU in assists with 5.5 per game.

Defensively, opponents average 60.0 points per game against the Aggies, while shooting 39.1 percent from the floor, 31.5 percent from long range and 72.1 percent at the free-throw line. Dufficy leads the team in steals with 1.6 per game. Mason, who is USU's all-time block leader with 181 career swats, leads Utah State with 1.6 blocks per game.
