LOGAN, Utah — Utah State softball (10-13, 1-2 MW) opens the home portion of its 2019 campaign this weekend as it hosts UNLV (21-6, 2-1 MW). The Aggies and Rebels will play a three-game series, beginning with a 3 p.m. contest on Friday, March 22. The weekend will continue with games on Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24, at 3 p.m. and noon, respectively.

Any weather-related game changes will be announced on utahstateaggies.com and on the Utah State softball social media pages.

All of the 2019 Mountain West games, as well as all USU home games, will continue to be broadcast as a USU Athletics Production on the Mountain West Network. All video feeds will be available live and in archive form at utahstateaggies.com/watch. Live stats will also be provided by SIDEARM for all home games, while road contests will also have live stats available. Links to each option will be available online prior to every game. In-game updates will also be provided through the team’s social media outlets. Admission to Utah State home games is free.

UNLV makes the trip to Logan with a 21-6 record, including a 2-1 Mountain West record. The Rebels opened conference play with a 2-1 series win over Boise State (8-1, 2-11, 1-0). As a team, UNLV is batting .330 (227-of-688) on the year, led by junior outfielder Lauren Tycksen, who is hitting .460 (40-of-87). The Rebels have used three pitchers this season, posting a combined ERA of 2.16. Freshman Jenny Bressler leads the group with a 13-2 individual record and a 1.62 ERA.
