BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Cameron Oluyitan scored 18 points as No. 7 seed Southern Utah beat second seed Northern Colorado 83-64 in the quarterfinals of the Big Sky Conference Tournament on Thursday. Jacob Calloway added 17 points for the Thunderbirds, while Dre Marin chipped in 15.

SUU used a 15-1 run to start the second half to build a cushion on the Bears, then built off that spurt to win easily.

“We told ourselves we were going to keep doing what we were doing, and it was working, so we just kept chopping and it took care of itself,” Oluyitan said.
