PROVO — BYU men’s tennis remains at home to face New Mexico and UC Irvine in a doubleheader Friday at the Indoor Tennis Courts.

BYU (6-2) begins its doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 15, by facing New Mexico (1-3) at 11 a.m. MST and UC Irvine (2-2) at 5:30 p.m. MST.

The Cougars (6-2) are coming off a solid 4-0 sweep against conference foe Santa Clara. BYU remains undefeated at home with a 3-0 record defending its home courts.


The Lobos (1-3) fell to Loyola Marymount in a close 4-3 match over the weekend. Senior Ricky Hernandez Tong leads the team in singles with a No. 35 national ranking.


The Anteaters (2-2) are coming off a 4-1 win against San Francisco. After losing the doubles point, their singles rallied back to take the match.
