LOGAN — Utah State’s Autumn DeHarde was named the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference co-Beam Specialist of the Week after scoring a season-high-tying 9.900 on the event last Friday against No. 9 Boise State at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

It is the second time this year and fifth time in her career that the sophomore from Sussex, Wis., has earned MRGC weekly honors. Overall, this is the Aggies’ 25th MRGC weekly accolade in their fourth season in the league.

DeHarde shared beam specialist of the week honors with Boise State’s Shani Remme, as the duo tied for first on the event. DeHarde also captured the floor title with a 9.900 against the Broncos, but BYU’s Shannon Evans had a 9.925 to win the event at the Air Force quad meet and earn MRGC Floor Specialist of the Week accolades.

For DeHarde, it was the sixth beam win of her career, which is tied for 10th all-time in program history, and the fourth floor win of her career — tied for 17th all-time in USU history. She now has 10 career titles.
