There is a retention pond in South Jordan, south of The District. It has been under construction for over a year now, it has been filthy and dirty and should be cleaned up and finished.

Around our neighborhood there aren’t many parks or areas to play in. Retention ponds are helpful because they give us an area to put all the bad water in a rain or snow storm from coming into our yards. It also gives kids an area to run around and get their energy out.

It allows kids to play in an area that isn’t closed off or by a road where kids can get hurt. You can build a playground to help kids out more too. The retention pond also allows places to host large games, or have a soccer field there.
