The larger-than-life sculptures are the creations of Shane Foster, who's become a neighborhood celebrity. "The opportunity presented itself in the form of a whole bunch of snow," he said of his creations Thursday. "I did some last year. Got the kids excited in the neighborhood and so they started making requests for this year," he said. Foster, who has spent up to three or four hours on some of the sculptures, said he looks forward to the reaction of strangers as much as he looks forward to the next storm.
