SALT LAKE CITY — Is Washington Redskins quarterback Alex Smith worth $94 million?

That’s the question the Redskins are dealing with heading into the offseason, according to Bleacher Report.

Multiple reports over the last few weeks highlight how the Redskins are concerned about the leg injury Smith suffered back in November, which will cause him to miss the entire 2019 season.

There’s no guarantee the former University of Utah star will play again, either, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

“Now the four-year, $94 million extension the Redskins signed Smith to after acquiring him hangs like a massive anchor on the franchise's neck,” according to Bleacher Report.
