SALT LAKE CITY — “Fortnite” released its latest patch updates for season seven.

The updates removed (or “vaulted”) four weapons from the game while bringing back one other and adding new features to the battle royale game, according to GameSpot.

Vaulted: Four weapons were added to the vault, including:

  • Bolt-action sniper rifle
  • Burst rifle
  • Heavy shotgun
  • SMG (the common, uncommon and rare varieties).

Flashback: Three other weapons added to the vault include the Grappler, Quad Launcher and Port-a-Fortress items, according to GameRant.

Added: The game added the new “chiller grenade,” which will knock players backward and cause them to slide in the game.

  • The “chiller grenade” will cause players and vehicles to slide around for seven seconds. They drop in stacks of three, with a max carry of six.
