Patrons speak with staff at the Natural History Museum of Utah while getting rare access to the museum's paleontology collections areas during DinoFest 2019 at the museum in Salt Lake City on Sunday. The two-day event featured paleontologists from around the country, tours of the museum's Paleo Prep Lab and paleontology collections, hands-on activities for guests of all ages and special appearances from Utahceratops. Keynote speakers included Hans-Dieter Sues, senior scientist and curator of vertebrate paleontology at the National Museum of Natural History of the Smithsonian Institution, and Jessica Whiteside, associate professor of geochemistry at the University of Southampton.
