HURRICANE, Washington County — Quail Creek State Park is looking for volunteers on Saturday to help get the beach in shape for summer.Comment on this story
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. at the maintenance building, 472 5300 West, where volunteers will fill out paperwork and receive job assignments such as moving rocks, cutting down trees, picking up litter, pulling weeds and moving picnic tables.
Participants will be treated to a lunch provided by Teriyaki Grill in St. George. Also, each household will receive one free entry pass into Quail Creek State Park to be used anytime throughout 2019.
Volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves, water, snacks and tools (pruners, chain saws, shovels and rakes).
