HONOLULU — The University of Oregon snagged a commitment from a Utah prep star during the Polynesian Bowl late Saturday night.
Skyridge center Logan Sagapolu announced his decision to play for the Ducks during the postseason bowl at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.3 comments on this story
Sagapolu’s final three schools included Oregon, Utah and BYU. He is rated a three-star prospect and the No. 7 center in the country by 247Sports.
"It was just the love I was getting from all the coaches and the fact I was really comfortable down there. And just showing the love they did to my family means a lot to me,” Sagapolu said during the CBS Sports Network broadcast of the game on why he chose Oregon.
The 6-foot-3, 340-pounder helped Skyridge reach the 5A state championship game each of the past two seasons.
