Utah State's indoor track and field teams won 10 events and collected 45 top-five finishes at the Montana State Dual Meet held Friday at Worthington Arena.

On the women's side, junior Maia Garren won the shot put with a heave of 15.57 meters, while senior Jennifer Christensen won the high jump for the second-straight week with a personal-best height of 1.75 meters. Senior Cierra Mecham won the mile with a time of 4:52.97, junior Jensen Mosman won the 400 meters with a time of 58.18 and sophomore Talie Bonds won the 60-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 8.66.

Senior Carl Jones Jr. led the Aggie men in the 60 meters with a first-place time of 6.92, while senior James Withers won the 3,000m with a time of 8:44.11. Senior Sam Nelson also performed well as he won the pole vault with career-high height of 5.35m, junior Kyle Brost placed first in the triple jump with a leap of 14.42m and sophomore Josh Barclay finished first in the shot put with a distance of 17.16m.

Other Aggie women that finished in the top three included sophomore Karen Christensen, who placed third in the 800 meters (2:18.20). Seniors Megan Ryan and Katie Struthers placed second and third in the 3,000 meters with personal-best times of 10:30.27 and 10:30.59, respectively. Sophomore Bailey Maseda placed third in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 11.43 meters, while Flint (15.08 meters) and Bailey (13.71 meters), finished second and third in the shot put, respectively. Rounding out the top three were Garren (17.41 meters) and Michala Zilkey (17.35 meters) in the weight throw, finishing second and third, respectively.

Other Aggie men who placed in the top three included junior Chad Artist, who finished second in the 60 meters with a personal-best time of 6.97, and sophomore Austin Lane in third in the same event with a time of 7.01. Junior Tyler Lloyd placed third in the 60-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 8.40, while Mikhail Kidd placed third in the 400 meters (50.63). Freshman Roberto Porras and Devin Pancake placed second and third, respectively, in the mile and 800 meters with times of 4:23.64 and 1:55.89. Sophomore Haydon Cooper and freshman Josh Ward placed second and third, respectively, in the 3,000 meters with times of 8:47.05 and 8:49.30. Senior Leaugen Fray and freshman Chandler Obray placed second and third, respectively, in the high jump with leaps of 2.00 meters. And junior Kyle Morris placed third in the shot put with a heave of 16.51 meters. Eldridge also ran a personal-best time of 50.65 in the 400 meters, finishing fourth in the event.

Utah State's 4x400-meter relay teams also performed well. On the women's side, USU had two teams run and were led by junior Kasia Lawrynowicz, senior Alyssa Hirschi, sophomore Talie Bonds and redshirt junior Mosman, who placed second with a time of 4:00.74. On the men's side, Artist, freshman Mikhail Kidd, junior Lloyd and sophomore Spencer Eldridge finished third with a time of 3:23.74.

Utah State is back in action on Friday, Jan. 25, when it competes at the two-day University of Washington Invitational in Seattle, Washington.
