PARK CITY — The Huntsman Cancer Foundation’s Pink Park City — a ski day to conquer cancer — will return on Saturday, March 23.

Friends, family and neighbors are invited to come together to participate as a fundraising team, raise funds and ski together in Pink Park City’s Rally for Hope Parade at Park City Mountain’s Canyon Village. Participants are encouraged to ask their friends and loved ones to support their fundraising efforts, 100 percent of which will benefit research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Last spring’s inaugural event raised $80,000.

“We had tremendous success with Pink Park City last year and we want to carry the momentum into this year’s event,” cancer survivor Holly Hagerman, who is a co-chairwoman of Pink Park City, said in a statement. “We want to continue to increase our impact by raising $150,000. We would love to see 600 people covered in pink on March 23.”

The all-day, all-ages event will aim to cover the resort in pink by way of hundreds of skiers in over-the-top costumes, multiple lodge deck parties, giveaways and live music.
