The sun rises over the smog-filled Salt Lake Valley on Monday. According to KSL meteorologist Grant Weyman, a storm system will bring likely snow showers on Tuesday and Wednesday, and then rain showers on Thursday, which should help scrub the air. Temperatures on Tuesday are expected to peak at about 39 in Salt Lake City, with the highs on Wednesday and Thursday in the low 40s. According to the Utah Division of Air Quality, Tuesday is expected to remain unhealthy for sensitive groups in the Salt Lake Valley.
