Utah State University Vice President and Director of Athletics John Hartwell announced Friday that the Aggies will play at Iowa on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023. Game time and broadcast plans will be announced at a later date.

This will be the third time that Utah State has traveled to Iowa City to play the Hawkeyes, also doing so in 1957 and 2002.

Utah State is familiar with Big Ten country, having traveled to Michigan State this past season and to Wisconsin in both 2012 and 2017. The only other Big Ten teams USU has played are Illinois (1989) and Penn State (1977). USU has also faced Nebraska eight times, but those meetings were when the Huskers were members of the Big 8 and Big 12 Conference.
