I say we let President Trump build a wall on our southern U.S. border. Let's remember a big part of his previous civilian business was building hotels. Building something big is important to him.

President Trump may have been wrong (or maybe misinformed) about the drug smuggling crisis mainly occurring through existing checkpoints on existing highways. However, if we just beef up checkpoint security stations, the drug smugglers will eventually adjust by finding new routes through the borders, then we'd be right back where we are now. Let's build the wall. It'll be worth it in the long run.

We must immediately get out of this partisan gridlock and using many innocent Americans as pawns and bargaining chips. Federal money must be provided to get them back to work and reimbursed. If not, many other serious problems may grow out of it.
