CLEARFIELD — The City Council is seeking applicants to fill vacancies on the Planning Commission and the Parks and Recreation Commission.

The Planning Commission consists of seven regular members and up to three alternates who advise the City Council on land use decisions, development activities, planning policy matters and interpretations.

Meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month at City Hall, 55 S. State.

The Parks and Recreation Commission consists of nine members and one alternate who recommend policies, standards, rules, programs and activities for recreation programs. The commission also serves as an advisory board to the mayor and City Council and acts as a liaison to the community.

Meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month, except for July, at City Hall.
