“Fortnite” released its latest patch — v7.10 — that addressed a number of complaints from players since the beginning of the new season.

SALT LAKE CITY — “Fortnite” just made some major changes to the game with its latest patch update.

What happened: “Fortnite” released its latest patch — v7.10— that addressed a number of complaints from players since the beginning of the new season.

Plane: The patch decided to “nerf” — a term used for making adjustments to in-game material — the Stormwing X-4 plane to suffer more damage than before.

As Forbes reported, the plane will take 50 percent more damage when it hits structures and its damage reduction when it flies through structures dropped down to 25 percent.

  • The plane’s machine gun has been reduced as well.
  • Planes will spawn in fewer areas now.
  • The plane can’t fly higher than any structures in the game.

Boombox: The anti-building device Boom Box has been “nerfed” as well. You’ll see about 33 percent less of them. The device will also suffer damage more easily.

To the vault: The burst assault rifle gun has been sent to the vault — that includes all variants of the weapon. Dual pistols have also been sent to the vault.

New: The game has now installed a suppressed sniper weapon, which is like a sniper rifle but makes less noise. The gun will be added to the Creative Mode as well,Newsweek reports.
