Marvel Studios dropped a new trailer for “Captain Marvel” on Monday during halftime of “Monday Night Football.”

SALT LAKE CITY — Brie Larson said she deleted her memories so she wouldn’t spoil Marvel's upcoming “Captain Marvel” and “Avengers: Endgame.”

What’s going on: Larson told USA Today that she filmed scenes for “Endgame” before she filmed “Captain Marvel,” even though the latter takes place years before “Endgame” and will be released about one month beforehand.

  • Larson said she would “erase my brain” after work since the “Avengers” set was so private.
  • “I just never wanted to feel like I was going to slip up or that I was going to say the wrong thing,” Larson told USA Today. “I was like, 'I can't live with myself being the one that spoils something.' So I really just deleted it. I tried my best to journal it if I want to recall it and go, ‘Oh yeah, that was a crazy time.’ And I'm excited when the movie comes out to finally be able to talk about it and go, ‘Yes, this was crazy.’ But my family doesn't know. I haven't talked to anybody about anything because I'm just a very diligent secret-keeper.”

Bigger picture: Larson should probably share this idea with her fellow cast members. As CinemaBlend noted, Mark Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner and The Hulk, spoiled the ending of “Avengers: Infinity War” months in advance during a live-stream video.

Similarly, Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker and Spider-Man, had a bit of trouble keeping his mouth shut from spoilers, too.

Next up: New "Captain Marvel" footage will debut tonight during the College Football Playoff National Championship game, according to CBR.
