SALT LAKE CITY — Troopers say they arrested 11 people for DUI during a blitz on the night of New Year's Eve.

However, no one who was arrested had a blood alcohol level under the old threshold of .08 percent.

Utah's new .05 percent blood alcohol limit took effect on Dec. 30.

Among the 11 people arrested Monday night, one had a .257 blood alcohol content, more than five times greater than the new limit, the Utah Highway Patrol said.
