Dusty Murray jumps into the frigid waters of Stansbury Lake in Stansbury Park during the sixth annual Polar Plunge on New Year's Day. Sponsors pledged $30 per jumper to New Life Christian Fellowship's ministries, such as its medical clinic and clothing closet. Nearly 100 people made the plunge despite temperatures that hovered in the low 20s. By the end of the week, temperatures are expected to reach the upper 20s and lower 30s. Another storm isn't expected to move into the area until Sunday, which means air quality may start to become an issue.
