SAN DIEGO — The 17th-ranked Utah Utes will be looking to cap what's been a special season by earning their 10th victory on Monday in the Holiday Bowl against the 22nd-ranked Northwestern Wildcats.

The Wildcats will be aiming for their ninth win of the season. Both squads won their respective division titles, with Utah claiming the Pac-12 South and Northwestern grabbing the Big Ten West.

This will mark the first time either team has played in the Holiday Bowl. They have played each other twice before, with each team winning once. The Wildcats won in 1927 and the Utes were victorious in 1942. Both contests were played at Northwestern.

Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. MT.
