I am interested in the inland port that the Legislature voted on, taking valuable acreage from Salt Lake City. It's interesting that when the federal government designates BLM land for national monument status, conservatives cry foul and say local entities should have the voice in deciding how the land should be used.

Our state legislators showed great hypocrisy when they made the policy without allowing the city control over their land.
