Sundays Hunt's dog Tex, canine mayor of Salt Lake County, lounges at the feet of animal advocates during Humane Lobby Day at the Capitol in Salt Lake City on Thursday. The activists were on the Hill in support of SB91, which makes it a crime to leave an animal tethered or unattended, under certain conditions, in a manner that prevents the animal from reaching shelter. The bill is being sponsored by Senate Minority Leader Gene Davis, D-Salt Lake City.
