Some Republican legislators will do anything they can to avoid the will of the people. Several years ago when the Count My Vote initiative looked like it would pass, they pushed through a bill to pre-empt it and strike a compromise. Then they spent several years fighting against their so-called solution that they put in place to stop Count My Vote.

Now a bill has been proposed that would automatically undo the "Our Schools Now" initiative if it passes. State legislators need to stop acting like they're afraid of the will of the people. If they continue to act this way, eventually the will of the people will push the Republicans out of power, despite the efforts of the extremists in the party to hold on to power through the caucus system and other unpopular attempts to limit public input.
