SARATOGA SPRINGS — The public library will close in late February so crews can make flooring repairs. Work will begin on Saturday, Feb. 24, and should be completed by Monday, March 26.

Items that would fall due during the closure will have a due date of Monday, April 2.

Beginning Monday, Feb. 5, item limits will temporarily increase to 150 items total per adult card, including three kits, five video games and 30 DVDs.

During the closure, items should not be returned to other libraries.

Library staff will continue to monitor voicemail and respond when able, and the library’s website and BookMyne app will continue to function for renewals.

A limited selection of items will be available for checkout in the City Council chambers from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the closure.

The American Fork, Eagle Mountain and Lehi libraries have all agreed to provide temporary cards to Saratoga Springs residents free of charge. These cards will be valid from Monday, Feb. 26, to Monday, April 30. Residents must bring their Saratoga Springs library card, photo ID and proof of address to these libraries in order to receive the card.
