OGDEN — The Ogden Nature Center, 966 W. 12th Street, is calling on citizen scientists to help with the national Great Backyard Bird Count on Saturday, Feb. 17.

During the daylong event, which is open to all ages, participants will meet in the visitor center to choose an area and then head out to count birds. The center will provide tally sheets and snowshoes, if needed. Please bring your own binoculars. Center staff will then log the results on the Great Back Yard Bird Count website.

Admission to the center is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Members get in free. For more information, log on to ogdennaturecenter.org.
