SALT LAKE CITY — The city’s Redevelopment Agency and Arts Council are seeking artists for a public art project on Regent Street.Comment on this story
The project is the final element of the reconstruction and revitalization of the street and has a budget of up to $2 million, which when completed will be Salt Lake City’s highest public art project ever commissioned.
The opportunity is open to all professional artists and artist-led teams with demonstrated experience in innovative placemaking and a history of work in all media and materials that are durable and suitable for Utah’s variable climate.
Artists responding to this call must demonstrate a proficiency in executing work of similar scope and scale. Submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7.
