FARMINGTON — An open house will be held on Jan. 23 to solicit public comment on a proposal to designate the soon-to-be built West Davis Corridor as a scenic byway.

The meeting, sponsored by the Great Salt Lake Legacy Parkway Scenic Byway Committee, will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Farmington City Hall, 160 S. Main.

The 19-mile corridor from Farmington to West Point will connect with I-15 and Legacy Parkway at Glovers Lane and 1800 North at approximately 4000 West at its most northern segment.

The corridor’s route was approved by the Federal Highway Administration in October. Construction is expected to begin in 2020.
