FILE - Traffic moves on I-15 on a snowy morning in Salt Lake City on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017.

HONEYVILLE, Box Elder County — Crews with the Utah Department of Transportation will close I-15 in both directions from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday as girders for a new interchange bridge are put into place.

All traffic will be routed through the on-and off-ramps. Motorists should expect congestion and consider alternate routes. State Route 240 is blocked at I-15 until the end of the project next spring. Traffic that would normally use S.R. 240 to cross I-15 should plan to use alternate routes, such as parallel S.R. 13 and S. R. 38, while the new bridge and interchange modifications are being constructed.
