PARK CITY — Zane Holmquist, vice president of food and beverage and corporate chef at Stein Eriksen Lodge, will be a guest chef on NBC’s “Today” show on Christmas Day.
Holmquist has been invited to share his cooking expertise on the national morning show for six years running to prepare signature menu items available for guests at Stein Eriksen Lodge during the winter season.Comment on this story
For the in-studio segment, Holmquist will share and create his recipes for three holiday beverages, including Gingerbread Hot Chocolate, Vermont Sleigh Ride and Norwegian Glog, along with his Marbled Peppermint Bark and Scotcharoo Caramel Corn from Stein Eriksen Lodge's Glitretind Restaurant.
“It is such a privilege to return to the ‘Today’ show kitchen this year,” Holmquist, who was recently named Chef of the Year by the Utah Restaurant Association, said in a statement. “It's a small way of giving the gift of Stein Eriksen Lodge to millions of families watching at home who may choose to make one of our dishes as part of their own holiday traditions.”
The “Today” show airs at 7 a.m. on KSL Ch. 5.
