Police investigate after a pickup truck crashed into a light-rail car in Salt Lake City Friday afternoon. No one was seriously injured when the driver made a U-turn through a red light and crashed into the light-rail car about 3 p.m., authorities said. The accident at 1300 W. North Temple dealt cosmetic damage to the train, and its operator and passengers stepped off without incident, said Utah Transit Authority Police Capt. Jason Petersen. The truck's driver was brought to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. "This person was pretty lucky," Petersen said. The incident did not delay TRAX service.
