MORGAN — The Utah Highway Patrol has identified a Weber County teenager was killed Friday in a weather-related crash on I-84.

Hyrum Rasmussen, 17, of Taylor, wasn't wearing a seat belt when he apparently lost control of his vehicle while heading east on the slushy highway at about 10 a.m., according to the UHP. Rasmussen's car drifted into the back of a semitrailer that was pulling off the road and almost stopped in the emergency lane.

The driver of the semitrailer was not injured. There were no other occupants in Rasmussen's car.
