TAYLORSVILLE — One man was shot during an apparent home invasion in Taylorsville early Thursday, police say.Comment on this story
Officers were first notified of the incident when a 21-year-old man showed up at the St. Mark's Taylorsville Emergency Center about 3:30 a.m. with a gunshot wound to his leg, said Unified Police Lt. Brian Lohrke.
The man's friends drove him to the clinic. An ambulance then took the man to Intermountain Medical Center in fair condition, Lohrke said.
Investigators learned the man had been shot during an alleged home invasion at 4917 S. Greentree Way (3325 West).
Lohrke said information was coming slowly for detectives working the case.
"The victim and witnesses were less than forthcoming with information," he said.
