Just after noon, a 16-year-old girl driving a Honda Civic was pulling out of 8605 South to head north on 1300 West, but apparently did not see an oncoming pickup truck, West Jordan Police Sgt. JC Holt said. The pickup T-boned the driver's side door of the Honda, he said.
A 21-year-old woman, who was in the passenger seat of the Honda, and a 2-year-old girl were flown by medical helicopter to local hospitals in serious to critical conditions, Holt said.
The teen driver of the Honda had to be extricated from the vehicle. She and a 3-year-old girl were taken by ambulances to local hospitals. The 3-year-old was in "good" condition when she left the scene, Holt said. The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt.
