Angels Landing and the West Rim Trail will be closed both days between the junction of the West Rim and Kayenta trails. The Patio, just above Scout Lookout, will also be closed.

Flaggers will be stationed on Scenic Drive, in the area of Big Bend, for periodic road closures during helicopter flyovers. All traffic, including shuttle buses, will be delayed those two days.

Recommended alternative hikes during the closure are Hidden Canyon and Observation Point trails, which can be accessed from the shuttle stop at Weeping Rock.
