ST. GEORGE — The Utah Financial Fraud Institute will hold an event Thursday at the Dixie Center from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

U.S. Attorney John Huber will be the keynote speaker. There also will be panel discussions on recognizing and avoiding investment fraud, and on avoiding other types of fraud.

Officials from several federal and state agencies — including the FBI, Securities and Exchange Commission and Utah Division of Consumer Protection — will lead the discussions.
