LAYTON — Police are searching for a 31-year-old Layton man who they allege shot an acquaintance multiple times in the chest before leading police on a chase that ended in Salt Lake City.

Officers believe Eddie Angelo Samora, 31, and the victim, whose name has not been released, had gotten into some type of argument about 12:40 p.m. Thursday, said Layton Police Lt. Travis Lyman.

Police said Samora should be considered possibly armed and dangerous.
