Tyler Barton, who attends the Kauri Sue Hamilton School in Riverton, holds a pumpkin grown by Utah State Prison inmates in the Green Thumb Nursery program on Wednesday. Each year, the inmates in the program grow and harvest thousands of pumpkins, which are then donated to local schools, hospitals and other community organizations across the Salt Lake Valley.
