A Utah National Guard Black Hawk helicopter drops water on the Trout Creek Fire just east of U.S. 40 near Strawberry Reservoir in Wasatch County on Monday. Dozens of firefighters were fighting two blazes that ignited Sunday afternoon and have consumed more than 400 acres, according to information from the Forest Service. The Trout Creek Fire burned a little over 300 acres and was 20 percent contained Monday evening while the nearby Soldier Creek Fire was measured at 140 acres and 40 percent contained. Fire investigators do not know why several fires broke out along the highway Sunday, but noted there was no lightning in the area at the time. They are looking at whether power lines played a part.
