SALT LAKE CITY — Nearly 100 documents containing information regarding Social Security numbers, IDs and personal checks were seized from a Salt Lake apartment, police say.

A landlord checking on an apartment at 255 N. 400 West on Thursday night found a lot of documents that she thought were suspicious and called police, said Salt Lake police detective Richard Chipping.

Investigators served a search warrant and found nearly 100 documents, all believed to have been stolen in mail thefts, Chipping said.

As of Friday, no arrests had been made.
