SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation Division is hosting four open houses to educate the public and receive feedback regarding its Off-Leash Dog Park Implementation Plan, which has identified the need for dog park amenities throughout the county.

The meetings will be held on Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Cottonwood Heights City Hall, 2277 E. Bengal Blvd.; Wednesday, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Gene Fullmer Recreation Center, 8015 S. 2200 West; Nov. 1, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., West Valley Library, 2880 W. 3650 South; and Nov. 2, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Salt Lake County Government Center, South Building Lobby, 2001 S. State

The plan will use criteria from the 2008 Master Plan with additional considerations around environmental concerns and community input. The process will result in sites and concept plans for two or three, 5- to 10-acre regional dog parks.
