The accident occurred about 11:35 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a Dodge truck on its roof and a flat-bed dual wheeled truck that was pulling a horse trailer off of the road, Springville police said in a statement.

The driver of the flat-bed truck, Kasey Bartlett, 20, had to be extricated from the truck's cab. He was flown by medical helicopter to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, where he was treated for a concussion and was later released, police said.

Talbot was ejected from his truck and died at the scene of the crash. Police said the cause of the accident is still under investigation but provided no other details.
