Federal prosecutors in Reno announced the indictment Wednesday of Andrew Brigman, 28, of Layton. He faces one count each of carjacking, felon in possession of a firearm, and use of a firearm during a crime of violence.

The girl who went missing after the July 6 carjacking at the Nugget Casino in Sparks was found safe weeks later in Alamosa, Colorado.

The Colorado State Patrol also found the stolen vehicle and subsequently arrested Brigman for investigation of aggravated motor vehicle theft and speeding.

A woman who was with him, Bernadette Jarmillo, 33, also was arrested on unrelated charges.
