Adams died 13 hours after he was injured in a rollover in St. George. His wife Margaret, 74, was hospitalized overnight for observation and released Wednesday.

The Adams car was southbound on I-15 about noon Tuesday when it went off the highway and rolled. Mrs. Adams told officers she felt ill and blacked out while driving. The vehicle veered to the left and Cecil G. Adams grabbed the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to roll several times.

Holdaway was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident which occurred about 1:30 p.m at the intersection of 40th West and 60th South, Lakeshore. His wife was taken to Mountain View Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

According to Utah County sheriff's officials, the Holdaway vehicle was southbound on 40th West when it was struck at 60th South by an eastbound vehicle driven by Stewart Grover, 17, Route 2, Box 235, Spanish Fork.

Grover suffered minor injuries. No citations have been issued.

In Clearfield, 1 1/2-year old Brandon S. Howe, son of Denise Howe, 442 S. State St., was killed when a vehicle driven by his aunt backed over him in a driveway, Clearfield Police reported. Howe was declared dead on arrival at Humana Hospital Davis North.

Police said the boy's aunt, Vickie Blowers, 33, 1864 N. 650 West, Layton, was backing out of a driveway about 3:15 p.m. when the accident occurred. The boy apparently was playing in the driveway at 65 Airline Drive. An investigation is continuing but police said it appears to be accidental.
