The Salt Lake Trappers dropped a twinbill to Butte Monday night by scores of 8-7 and 6-5.

The Trappers scored five runs in the first inning of the first game and out-hit the Copper Kings 14 to 8, but they couldn't hold on.In the second game, the Trappers took a 5-4 lead after six innings, but two runs by Butte in the bottom of the seventh provided the winning margin.

The Trappers start a four-game homestand with Pocatello Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
